If you could only do one thing
to find the right job faster…

Living with extreme uncertainty about our job or career is no fun for anyone…but my heart beats for the accomplished executive in his/her 40’s (or beyond) that is in this situation for the first time.  You are usually an extremely loyal employee who has made significant personal sacrifices to help your company succeed.  And now for the first time in your career, through no fault of your own, you need to “market” yourself to prospective new employers.  To make matters worse, you know you can add much value to a new company; however they are very slow to respond to you, they seem skeptical about why you are “on the street,” and it can make you wonder if you are “damaged goods” or over-the-hill.

If your situation is similar to this, I can’t tell you how excited I am to recommend a resource that is relatively inexpensive, yet worth its weight in gold (and I mean that LITERALLY! ;-)  As an executive recruiter, multiple executives contact me every week with the basic question, “do you have a job for me…what do I need to do?”  Because clients pay me to find executives that are just the right “fit” for them, and my job is not to find COMPANIES that are just the right fit for executives…I can never spend as much time with them as I would like, and many requests go unanswered.  I am even more frustrated because I feel like the common advice executives are getting is leading them down the wrong path: always have your 30-second elevator pitch ready to go; attend networking events and bring business cards; ask everyone you know for 2-3 referrals; make sure your resume is one or two pages max; find a good recruiter; etcetera ad nauseam.

Well, quite by accident, I discovered the materials of an Internet marketing consultant who helps professional service businesses attract new clients.  He’s been around since the mid 1980’s, but I only learned about him last year.  I was so impressed with his insights on how to better communicate with my prospective clients that I signed up for his FREE eZINE and shortly after ordered his INFOGURU Marketing manual.  (You see, just like an executive seeking new employment, I am “selling” something intangible.)

The information has revolutionized my plans for marketing my business in an exciting way.  I’m not a natural-born salesman, and could never sell ice cubes to Eskimos…but I am now very excited about marketing my company’s services.  As I’ve read through the materials, the parallels to an executive who needs to “market” him/herself are obvious.   Knowing what I know from 10+ years of executive recruiting, if I were in a job transition and could only do one thing to find the right job faster, it would be to learn and apply the InfoGuru materials.  He has a money-back guarantee, but personally I’d be shocked if you don’t feel the content is well worth every penny.

The Manual is especially good and there is a lot of great free stuff on the site too.  All the best in finding your next good career fit!
