Scott A. Kaufman

Scott is a Principal with Convergence Recruiting Solutions, Inc., an executive search and advisory services firm he founded to serve emerging and mid-cap companies. His recruiting experience spans more than a dozen years and includes engagements for industry-leading, companies such as BellSouth, Cingular Wireless, Coca Cola Enterprises, Cousins Properties, Cox Communications, Deloitte Consulting, Invisible Fence, Kilpatrick Stockton, Morrison Homes, and Southern Company.  Scott has also had the privilege of recruiting for national non-profit organizations, including Apartment Life, FamilyLife, The National Science Center, and Prison Fellowship, as well as Georgia-based non-profits like the Athens Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Family Council, North Point Community Church, and TAPPI.

Earlier in his career, Scott worked for a large, publicly-traded retained executive search firm. He was subsequently recruited by a highly regarded boutique firm to serve as the primary recruiter and operations director. In addition to Scott's work in the search industry, he has over 10 years of business ownership experience. (Prior to becoming an executive recruiter in the mid 1990's, he bought, operated, and sold a business that was ultimately acquired by a Fortune 500 company.)

Scott is an active member of Perimeter Church; a long-time participant with High Tech Ministries; the former volunteer Executive Director for Half Time of Georgia (a non-profit ministry that equips business professionals on their journey from "success to significance"); and a member of the Executive Advisory Council for DBM. Scott earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Georgia. He and his wife of 20+ years live in Atlanta, Georgia (Alpharetta) with their two teenage children and two dogs (lab mixes). Scott is a competitive tennis player who enjoys outdoor and family activities, including hiking, camping, and skiing, as well as reading and politics.
